Some people aren't too bright!!! You cannot tell the customer they are stupid even if you do have the mute button pushed. I can still hear it and you will get marked lower on your call evaluation!
When you are told you need to get off the phone and go to training you really should not back talk the boss. FYI! But somehow I avoid getting the write up that the other 3 people got. I really do get away with murder don't I.
Thank you Jen!! My book colection is now complete. I have now got something of everything to read. Jen completed my collection on Friday. Feeling that need to give me my birthday present early, Jen met me over at Connie's (we were working on her taxes) and gave me my gift. I now have a book that details the making of one's kinky toy's. In fact it's called "Kinky Toy's". I have to admit I never expected that one. It is a good book though. Just ask Joyce. She'll tell you. I am not sure but I think we bonded over the book. Never expected to bond with my ex's mom over a sex book. That's one for the books. Jen also gave me a very nice gardening set. Complete with seeds. Now that Spring is here, and YES it is, I am looking forward to working on the yard. I really let it go last year. Connie and her mother gave me my present early also. I am loving it. I got a digital camera! It is nice. I have managed to take about 4 or 5 dozen pictures and haven't had to spend a fortune developing the film. Which means I actually develop the film. Now I have to get my web site going. I took Abbie to the puppy park today and took picture's of her. I would have downloaded them but I got selfish and went and got my hair cut before work. Can't wait to get off and take a look at them. It's going to be nice when I go to Florida. I can update pic's daily while I am there. Sweet!
Well I guess I better get back to the work thing.

There was no Margerita's drank. There were a few Cape Cod's consumed. At least I think that they were Cape Cod's. I know there was Vodka and something made the drink pink. It was the first time I ever got sloshed on casino drinks. I can't even get a mild buzz drinking with Wayne so it was a bit odd for me. Aside from the alchohol it was a very nice week-end. As for those of you who seem to think that going somewhere with the ex. is considered dating, just remember it was you all that said we needed to start dating. I don't recall anyone saying who it is we should date. I just happened to pick the cutest girl I could find. You don't like my choice then may be someone needs to set me up. So :P NAAAA!
You're still living with the consequences of a more carefree era. Don't let your newfound wisdom make you bitter. Someone is learning to appreciate your persistence and responsibility.

That means I can check and send emails all day. At least when I remember that I can.

Altruism lingers from your last two people-intensive days. Parlay a stroke of personal gain into a measure that benefits many others. The praise that you receive is worth more than whatever you may lose.
I am just glad that I didn't doze off today. I have actually had a pretty good day. I am thinking that I might survive on no sleep after all.
I am getting really tired of this not sleeping at night thing. Last night was really bad. Not only didn't I sleep I had no computer to get on and surf. The only good thing that came of not getting any rest is I managed to finish TombRaider I on the Playstation off. Now I can open TombRaider II. Maybe I can finish it off tonight. I have also got the military fly by times figured out. My Doctor gave me some sleeping pills but not even those are working for me. This whole manic/depressive thing sucks! I have been in a manic mode for about 3 weeks now and it's going to end up killing with exhaustion soon. I did manage about 5 hours of sleep this weekend so I guess I shouldn't complain too loud. I am thinking I need to get my computer back though. Maybe I should just buy the rest of the parts for Connie's computer and just get it put together.

I actually got hung up on a stupid trick question. I have just spent the last 25 minutes looking for the answer. I really hate doing that. It kinda pisses me off. The bad part is I can only be mad at myself.
Guess I better go back to work.

I was down at the Center last night for my weekly volenteer time. We had a good night. The kids and I made Saftey Games 2002 packs. If you want to know what they are you will have to visit one of venues and find the kids in the hunter orange caps. We also came up with a format for the kids Zine magazine. We will be putting it together after the Olympic's since the Center will be close for the next two weeks.
I might actually find out what day's I will have off today. The production guy is in from Toronto and is going to start meeting with people today. We'll see if that actually happens. I am NOT holding my breath.
Survival is no longer an issue -- you've proven that one just by showing up. Pisces is more interested in satisfaction. Spiritual and sensual concerns leave you restless and pushy. Think before you say too much.
Today's horoscope is totally off. I am not pushy! And why would I want satisfaction?

I thought yesterday was bad. Today totally beat it out. I had the worst time staying awake after lunch today. It was all I could do to make it to break. But now I can help Toni and Rob with "fixing" their bill. I also know who you don't want to talk to when you call ATT&T support. We are spending the last half hour of the day listening to call's. Some of the people that took call's yesterday won't have a job by tomorrow. Man, you can't belive how rude some of these guy's were. If I had been the caller I would have demanded a supervisor. The men were the worst. They managed to make some of the caller's feel like idiot's. The women were just rude little bitches. It's kinda sad to know that these people work here.
I'm going to pack up and see if I can sneak out of here early.

I need to figure out a way to sleep when I am supposed to. This up all night when I have to train all day thing isn't going to continue to work.
Oh well.
So even though the Raider's didn't make it to the SuperBowl the AFC won. I may not really like the Patriot's but I have to give them thier prop's. Exellent finish to a game that looked like the Ram's had come back and won. Good job Brady!
Now, for all those out there that have ever done something that you knew was going to result it your own bodily harm but continued to do it any way, here's the advice for the day. If you know holding a wire while cutting it with an exacto bldae could slice a finger wide open, don't use the finger that has the potential of being cut to support the wire. The result will be 4 stitches in your index finger. Trust me on this one. I have first hand, or should I say finger, experience. Also, never, ever name your daughter Grace. If you do you will be sentancing the child to a life time of bumps, bruises, scraqpes, cuts, sprains, breaks, ect. Believe me on this. I have first hand experience. However Jen has cable in her bedroom again. She has to wait until tomorrow for the basement though. I am able to type pretty good though. So I guess that I'll survive.
Man, I really do need to start listening to that voice in the back of my head.

gave me this as a result. What do you think? Right or wrong?
41 TO 50 POINTS: Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.
I got away with just having to have a cavity fixed. My back tooth was getting pretty rotted but it hadn't hit the nerve yet so I didn't have to stress over the whole root canal thing. He did carve away a pretty big chunk of the tooth but hopefully he got all the rot so I won't have to go back. It did cost a nice $100.00 to get it fixed, which in comparison to Dylan's bill is nothing. Now I get to wait and see if it worked or if it's just going to get me by until I do get the insurance to cover a root canal. Hopefully it worked.
This one I actually had to think while I took it. Lot's of acronyms to remember. I know that acro's are suppose to be easier to remember but I do a whole lot better with the whole term in front of me.
Click this link then click on the 'Watch this movie' link

Another one done and out of the way. This will get more exciting soon, right?
The trainer seem's to not have a watch. He never get's to class on time. Well that just mean's that we get to screw around a little bit longer than we normally would get to.

Well, got home to find abie sitting in my bedroom chewing up a cardboard box. I am beginning to think that I need to include a certain amount of cardboard in her diet. She seem's to always want to eat the boxes around the house. So I cleaned up the mess, frowned at the dog, and then fed the cat since the dog ate all of her food too. Then Abbie and I went for a walk around the block. It's way to cold out there to walk any further. Even Abbie was shivering by the time we got home.
Now I am getting ready to head out to the dentist. I think I had better eat before I go since I probably won't be able to eat after. I really hate natural teeth. Maybe I can get him to pull them all and just get dentures. Then I won't have to worry about them rotting out 3 month's before I get insurance to cover the cost of getting them fixed. Ugh! The damn tooth only had to wait 3 more month's.
I survived the reading by mucking around on the internet. I also filled out my stock option paper's, so that will go into effect with my big four day paycheck next friday. I may as well start taking advantage of these little perks as soon as I can. No since in wasting time getting more money out of the company.
Well better find that food.
You may be convicted of a Class 4 felony offense, punishable by up to three years in state prison, for the crime of "eavesdropping" on your own conversation. -720 ILCS 5/14-2.
Then off to rescue the puppy dog. Abbie seem's to be doing well with all of this. I am surprised that I still have room. Happy but suprised.
Argh!!! I really can read all by myself.
Ok, now what. 100% on the test.
Today's horoscope is:

Oo my first test. Wish me luck.
Well sitting here listening to someone read out of a manual is about as exciting as watching mud slid down a hill. I am wonding if he has to read it because someone in here can't read on thier own. If I had known that it was going to be this exciting I would have been better prepared for all this excitment. Oh well, back to reading.

Well went down and filled out all the stupid new hire paper's today. Picked my insurance. Enrolled in all those neat little thing's that will take more money from my pocket. I love the whole idea of working just to give my money to someone else. There were 10 of us there today to do paperwork. Four from the morning shift's, three for the afternoon shift's (that start at 10:00am), and three for the night shift's. They are going to be placing us as lead's for our team's. Supposedly we know more than the rest of the people coming in on Wednesday. I just think that it's kinda cool cause I already have a promotion and I haven't even begun working. It just mean's that I get more money to tell people that they pushed the wrong button and point to the right button to be pushed. So now I get to just chill out tomorrow and enjoy my last day of freedom. Wednesday is it! Can't wait.
PT hurt tonight. Anne think's I am crazy. Brandon (her new assistant) think's I am a computer God. I just think that 1lb. is much to heavy for anyone to have to lift with one arm. I think I need to find a new therapist. One that isn't very cute. I seem to completly loose track of my brain when I am there.

The last week has been hell. Con wasn't the only one sick. I got slammed on Saturday with the crap. Slept until Monday and have been fighting a pain in the ass cough since. I don't really feel yucky I just sound bad. The rest of my family is really ill though. My aunt has pneumonia, my cousin and her kids are a step away from it. My nephew has a fever that won't stop. My mom and dad could stand to have thier lungs sucked dry and I get the pleasure of running all over for everyone getting medicines or juice. I guess if the worst that I have is a cough I can't complain too loudly but this was supposed to be a week of getting everything done before I start the new job. Well there is always Saturday.
Good news though, my back is back in working order so sticking to the PT was a good idea Scottie. Bad news is I have to keep thinking of things that don't work on me so I can keep seeing the therapist :). I will not go and ask her out no matter how often Con presses the issue. She's cute and nice and speaks French and Italian fluently and and and and. I haven't got the nerve to just ask her out. I am not really thinking I want to date right now but I also know that I just haven't got the nerve to ask her. So I will just have to keep hurting myself until I do.
I am overly stoked about starting the new job. I have even had my clothes pressed for the past week. I am still trying to figure out how I am going to avoid traffic during the 2 weeks of Olympic Hell since all the damned events that are going to take place at the Oval will all start or end right when I need to be leaving. Maybe I'll just stay down at my parents house so I can try to avoid the worst of the crowds. The dog has mellowed out in the past 4 weeks. So leaving her isn't going to be a problem. About the only thing that I can think of that HAS to be done is getting a decent hair cut. I do have about a bizillion other little things that I would like to have done but they will have to wait. I did manage to get in one more test at school. My goal was two but everytime I turned around I had something else that had to be done. Network Infastructure shouldn't be rushed though so rather than blow $100.00 because I am in a rush and I fail the test (already did that with the last one), I will just take my time and study.
I got to run and go find my blasted sister. She has my car and if I have any hopes of having a decent hair cut I need to get it back.
BTW, anyone know how Lorene's mom's eye's are? I never seem to get a hold of her to find out myself.

Not sure why I picked that color. I'll have to remember I hate that.
Today is Friday. That said, on to important stuff. Wednesday night at the Center, the kids had thier focas group. This weeks topic was body peircings and tattoo's. We didn't talk all that much about tattoo's but I did learn a few things about poking unnatural hole's in your body. I couldn't believe the things that people do to thier bodies. OUCH!! I can grasp the concept that some people might want pencils hanging out of thier ears. That way you always have one right? I am even beginning to understand tongues with barbell's shoved through them. But do people honestly have to have forked tongues? The whole idea of sticking loops, or anything else that belongs in an ear, in genitelia is just, ahhhh disturbing. I can't imagine hanging myself from hooks to cleanse my body and soul either. I guess to each his own. Right?
Yesterday was kind of quiet. Physical therapy hurt. I have come to the conclusion that I will never tell anyone I trough out my back again. However, I did like the hanging in air while walking on a tredmill thing. That did take all the pain away fo a little while.
Today, Psyc class for the dog. Who just might get left there. She is driving me nuts today. It's colder than polar bear shit outside and all she wants to do is run in and out of the house. Too cold outside but the snow is falling, so what, she wants to go back out just to find out that, duh, it's cold outside so let her back in, then whine because the snow is falling. ARGH!
Weekend is kind of busy but I think that I will take it one little thing at a time. If I want to sleep in though I am going to have to sleep outside. My aunt is going to watch my cousin's kids again. How is it that I end up tell my cousin to find another babysitter and I still end up with the kids around me all the time? I guess I will be glad to move in with my parents. Not only will I not have to pay rent, I just might get some sleep. I hate the thought of moving in there but....a penny saved s a penny earned, and sleep does a body good. Hopefully I will be able to get enough money put aside to get my own cardboard box to live in. Ofcourse my parents will probably drive me nuts long before that happens. We'll just have to see.
Have a nice day!

I have had the pleasure of having Cameron, Dondra's boy, for the weekend. Friday night I picked him up from his house and on the way home he bought me dinner. Sweet huh, take note men, he's nine and already knows how to act like a gentleman. Then we stopped and got a video, "Star Kid" (cute little movie), and a video game for the playstation, "Monster's INC" (excellent fun). We chilled out the rest of the evening into the night watching video's and playing games. Sent him off to bed, which I guess was the ultimate because he got to sleep in my room. Tried to sleep myself but did really get much rest. Saturday morning we got up and played games and ate scrambled eggs in our pajama's. Around 10:00am we decided that we had better get bundled up and take Abbie to the doggie park. When we got to the park all the other dog owner's there were grabing thier dog's and leaving. I can't say that I blame them it was 19 degrees and the wind was blowing so it was like -50 degrees out there. Well since Cameron is a kid and Abbie is a dog neither of them noticed the cold and ran thier little butts off. After about 15 minutes, Ruthie (Abbie's little doggie friend), showed up with owners in tow. Slowly after that it began to pick up. After about an hour, Abbie began to slow down. After an hour and a half she was begging to leave. I guess the cold caught up with her. By that time I had no ears, my toes were killing me, and all three of us were coated in mud, although Abbie was definatly the worse. I could have sworn I had a YELLOW Lab not a Black one. Home we went. Washed the dog. Dog and Grace crashed on the couch while Cameron went right back into playing video games. Wish I could have that energy. Trina bought us all Chinese food for dinner, which is one of Cameron's and my favorites. After that Cameron and I watched the football games, WOOWOO RAIDER'S, and played Pokemon. After 5 hours of Pokemon it was time to call it a night. This morning Cameron woke up early, snuck him and Abbie downstairs, took her outside and played for awhile. Good kid!! He's in playing games and I'm in typing. I think I will shove food down his throat now. He keeps saying he's not hungery. I think he is but he doesn't want to have to go home after breakfast. Sorry kid.
Get a nine year old for a weekend. They aren't too bad to have and they seem to forget that you are ancient.

So call me stupid but, if you owned a Geo Metro and you knew you tended to go a bit fast into the turns, wouldn't you wear a seatbelt? I know I would. Apparently the driver going into my parents neighborhood didn't see a need to. I am sure he/she regrets it now. Took out a brick fence and the windshield. Kinda cool to see them lying accros the hood of the car though.
Spring in in the air.

Blogger is screwed up again!
he hasn't blogged yet today. That is highly unusual. By now he has, at the very least, two blogs and working on his third. Don't know what to do if he is too ill to blog. My day isn't complete without his comments about life, the girl, the schooling, or anything else that comes to his mind. I have been living vicariously through him. I hope it's not to icky. I would make him some chicken soup, but it would be cold before I could get it to him.
Get better Scottie-boy.

Though you always have a fertile imagination and a poetic turn of mind, today you might find your level of artistic inspiration far higher than it usually is. Some powerful and perhaps disconcerting emotions could bring thoughts and ideas to your mind that normally wouldn't be there. Therefore, this is a great day to write, draw, paint, or make music. You might make use of modern technology in order to make the creative process quicker and easier for yourself.
Maybe web page design isn't too bad an idea.
Went to the Physical Therapist's today. Didn't like that. Why is it that you can tell them right where it's hurting and how you hurt it and they will always find that it's coming from somewhere else? I hurt my back the other day while playing with Abbie and somehow it's all coming from my butt. I guess that it's not all bad though. I did get a woman to play with my ass. I know it's a therapy thing but I'll take what I can get.
I went to the Center last night and got signed up to work with the youth down there. That should be fun. I also got roped into working on the web page so we will see if I really am any good at it.
Off to the doggie park.

Well last night was a fun one. Around 2:00am Abbie started growling. When I tried to get her to quiet down she began the little woofs. I decided I had better look outside and see what was up. There were 2 kids out trying to steal our light bulb's from the outside lamps. What's up with that? So, I let her out and she chased them down the street. The kids got away with the neighbor's light's though. Probably should have called the cop's but I didn't. I would love to find out why they were going around taking out light bulbs though.
Next time I will listen better to the dog.

This morning I was awakened by Makayla bawling and screaming that she didn't want to go with Trina today. 5:30 in the morning and I and all the neighbor's get to hear this. Nice! So they bring the child in the house with her bawling so hard she is on the verge of making herself sick, to find out that she thinks Trina is mean. They actually had the nerve to ask her why she thought this, not like I haven't told either of them the answer before. Since the child couldn't even catch her breath they both started at each other. Ahhh, the peaceful morning sounds. Getting extreamly tired of it all, I shouted out that it might have something to do with the fact that every (I do mean every) morning Trina yells at the kid. either she wakes up too slowly or she wants to be carried or she doesn't zip up her coat quickly enough or any other number of reason's that I can't even begin to list. She actually yelled at her because, ohmygod, she wanted to tie her own shoes one day. What the hell was she thinking? So now Shawney is made at Trina wose mad at me whose mad at this whole situation. If either one of them had and ounce of intelligence they would see just how well this whole thing is NOT working out and go about making changes. However, neither do so I think I will just shoot both and bury their bodies in the desert. Maybe then I will be able to get some sleep.
I did say I was going to not keep my first New Year's resolution, didn't I?

Took my dog to the vet today to find out if there was anything I could do to get Abbie over her seperation anxiety. Diagnosis...Dog has a serious case of seperation anxiety and is now being refered to a puppy psycologist. The vet gave me some cloazapam to help calm her down a bit so that when I do have to leave her alone or with someone else, I don't end up have to pay for a new DVD player, don't ask you don't want to know. Other than that there is nothing else I can do but lock her in my room and just start doing 10 second trips away from her. Hopefully she will learn that I am coming back and the world is not going to implode on her.
We'll see.

Another year come and gone. Thank God, Budda, and The Universe as well!! This year has been quite an interesting trip. All I can say is, never again. I will never again go through a year like this. If it looks as though it will turn out that way, Wayne has been told to run me through with his sword.
Last night was quite nice. Dinner, fabulous. Conversation and company, great. Driving the drunk home after, priceless. Someone should talk to Connie about her drinking habits *GRIN*.
Resolutions...
1. To be less cynical.
2. To not keep first New Year's resolution....

I see that we have a new comment system we can plug up. Awfully nice of them to allow us to fill up their servers with a bunch of useless comments that we could simply banter back and forth with e-mail. Well it's their servers, and I will be more than happy to contribute to their demise.

I have a new job. Haven't even started the first job and already people want me to come to work for them. Kinda cool to be wanted so much. AT&T Broadband Internet hired me today to do upper level tech. support. If you have ATTBI you know what I am talking about because you most certainly have called them in the last month or so. Kinda cool. I get to screw up other people's computers now. Bad news is I have to wait to take a vacation now. That's ok though. Now I'll have the money to spend on the vacation. They offered me a $1.50 more an hour to train and $2.00 more an hour after training, plus a raise in 90 days and a sweet benefit package that includes 2 weeks paid vacation. You can't beat paid vacation after 90 days. After 6 months I get my internet for free too. Now that alone would make me work for them. Oh and I got to pick exactly what shift I wanted. NICE! Ok so I picked the best shift for the dog so she wouldn't be alone very long but it's still a good deal for me. I don't sleep at night anyway, plus the shift differential is a dollar so I'll be making $3.00 more an hour. Love that. Don't like the split days off deal, but if that's the worst of it then I'll deal some how.
So there you go. Post your resume on the internet and look what can happen. Copying Connie was a good idea.

Yes, yes, after monthes of back breaking (cough) work, I have a JOB. I am now a lowly tech support rep. Not the best job in the world. Certainly not the CAREER I want, but it is a foot in the door. I will actually be getting a real, honest paycheck. I have no idea what to do with that. Oh, and since there is a really good chance I will be pulling the night shift, I have now solved my not sleeping at night problem.
BTW, Wayne's paper was enlightening. It really is amazing that they are still allowing him to attend school.
I am off to see Lord Of The Rings again. I don't think I mentioned how great that movie is.
Why is it that when I want to sleep my body fights it so ademently? When I have something I want to stay awake for, I can't seem to keep my eye's open? I am getting tired of having to take a pill just so that I can say I actually fell asleep and stayed that way for more than 2 hours.
Well I don't know about the rest of the world but I'm going to go and read Wayne's paper on Global Warming. Oooooo, goody for me.

While the gang all participated in the joy of the holiday's last night, I was laying in bed trying to study for a test with UTA today and fighting off a screaming migraine. Neither was successful, so I took a sleeping pill and shut off the phones. I managed to fall asleep and get so rest before the "kids" showed up. The good news is I got rid of the headache and the test today was pretty simple. It had quite a few questions about Windows 95, and since we had such a cooprative computer a few monthes ago I happen to have an in depth knowledge of Windows 95. And I thought that we had a bad computer. Little did I know that it knew I needed to learn these things.
I want to wish all a Happy Holiday!! I hope the party was a grand success as usual. Oh, and Mat, sorry I couldn't play attempt to get Grace drunk games with you.
Merry Christmas!!

Today was his last day at UTA. After 27+ years he decided he was old enough to leave the place. He's already decided that we are going to go fishing every day from now to eternity. Can't wait.

Most people fret about themselves and their status,
but you don't have to do this.
What is success and failure?
If you have prestige and favor,
all you worry about is that it'll get taken away.
And if you have a lowly place,
you are basically afraid.
So, both, at the root, make for fear.
What does it mean that success is a problem?
It means people are to bound up in themselves.
If they weren't so self-obsessed
they'd have no reason to be worried.
If you can put yourself aside -
then you can do things for the whole of the world.
And if you love the world, like this
then you are ready to serve it.
~Tao Te Ching
I got my call back from UTA on the job I applied for. I go in on Christmas Eve to take another test. Guess I had a score close to someone else. I thought I was out of the running completly. This would be a premo job if I could get it. I guess we will see.

Connie is in with her parents and I have space. For the past 24 hours I have been boxing up the little things that got left behind. Con will have to come and get them sometime soon. I was happy to know that my sleeping habits haven't changed. In bed at 11:00pm up at 3:00am . Four hours no more no less. I guess I should be glad I get any sleep at all. If it weren't for Ambien I probably wouldn't.
I went to the Doctor today and he informed me that it's all in my head and it's grey. I can't have green or yellow like everyone else I have to have grey. Biaxin, mmmmmmmmm, got to love it. At least my lungs are alright. I have been worried that it was starting to settle down in them. I have worked hard at not getting sick because I am afraid of turning back into that worthless blob that I was a few years ago.
Well, guess I am going to go up and study for awhile. I moved my butt ugly, orange chair upstairs. It is the most comfortable chair in the whole world. I can now sit by my window and read. Got to love that.

As for those who use other's as convience item's, I believe Lorene is correct. Time to let that boat float on it's own. If it sinks, well, oops, not my problem or anyone else's as far as I know.
You all have a good day now, ya here!

Well if I am going to manage to do anything today I need to go shove my head under a shower nozzle to loosen some of this crap.

If I were a work of art, I would be Vincent Van Gogh's The Starry Night. I am a tiny village at peace while overhead rages the tumult of the heavens. Objects whirl and flash around me in a fevered haze only partially reflected in reality while I remain grounded and secure in my isolation. Which work of art would you be? The Art Test |

*SIGH*
Wednesday, December 05, 2001
Ok so here is what I was going to post on Saturday but couldn't...
Argh!
So AT&T is fucked up right now and I have no connection and can’t even get through on the phone line to the tech support to try to get this fixed. I really hate that. It pisses me off.
Today is not going to be one of those good breakup days. I have come to realize that I really do hate all that is happening. I am angry and mad and confused and I am tired of saying that this is for the best. I don’t think that it is. I lied. I want Connie here with me forever and I don’t get that. It’s not fair. It’s fucked up. What the hell happened to us? Where did all that life that we had in our marriage go? What the fuck did I do to deserve this?
I am going into survival mode, which means that all I want to do is hurry up, and find someone else to fuck so that I can forget about the hurting. I know that it won’t take away the pain. I know that it would devastate Connie if I did. I know I really don’t want either on to happen. The pain will actually be good because at least I will learn never to give myself away to anyone again and Con really doesn’t deserve to be hurt.
I ache inside. I feel like shit. I don’t know what to do and I hate smiling and laughing and saying that things will be fine. So I‘m not going to anymore. I am going to cry and yell and scream and curl up in a ball in bed with the covers over my head and shut out the world.
Fucking AT&T. I wish they would hurry up and come back online so that I can post this and then go and hide. Man, am I angry. My head is burning. It’s probably good that I am writing all of this out now.
I know I’ll “get over it”. But, you know, it took 7 years to get here and I think I should have at least that many months before I can say it‘s not as bad as it is now.
Fuck the world, fuck relationships, fuck women!
And fuck AT&T.
I’m going to bed.

Your Personalized Horoscope 11/30/01
Get your head out of the clouds today, Grace, and come back to earth for just a little bit. There are some things you need to take care of here. Mundane tasks and routine jobs won't be painful after you simply set your mind on getting the jobs done. You are actually able to accomplish quite a bit today. Just make sure that you keep a level head about the actual reality of the situation.
What does your Rising Sign have to say?
Too much exposure to computers or other irritants might have you feeling a little bit achy in the eyes and hands, so if you use computers make sure you take periodic breaks. This is also not a good day to run, as your muscles are more vulnerable than usual. Walk for exercise instead. A lot of fascinating information could come your way via the Web or other modern innovations. Do take care, though, even when reading.
If I was a James Bond villain, I would be Rosa Klebb. I enjoy severe military clothing, dominating young women, and kicking people with poisoned spikes. I am played by Lotte Lenya in From Russia With Love. Who would you be? James Bond Villain Personality Test |
What's scary is it's true!
I am 68% SKA.
Well, maybe I'm trying too hard, maybe I'm not trying hard enough. I shouldn't forget my roots, and remember that punk and reggae wouldn't exist without ska.
EVERYTHING IS GREAT!!!!!!!
I truly mean that. This is actually the second best thing that has ever happened to me. The first was meeting Connie in the first place. Besides, I seem to have a much bigger circle of friends than I gave myself credit for. Thank you to everyone for your concern. Now that I know I had you all hooked, you will never get rid of me. I'm like that gum that get's stuck to the bottom of your shoe that no matter what you do you can never get rid of it all, no matter how much you pick at it. 8-)
I am more focused on school. I have an interview for an internship next week. I am looking into a few job's out of state. So I am finally growing up and becoming an adult again. It's been awhile but I am thinking it's a lot like riding a bike, once you are back on the seat the wheels can only go forward (unless you have one of those really weird bikes and then you can go forward and backward, but I have never had one of those so I am thinking that I'm ok there).
So, not to worry. Breaking up really isn't hard to do, if you do it the right way. We needed this. We had both stopped growing and we we're really beginning to get to each other. We are still great friends and I think it is going to stay that way. I know that we still love each other, we just can't stand the thought of living together. That's cool. I can think of much worse things than that. Like George coming at me with his shotgun. But even her parents are being really cool about this. It's kinda odd, since nothing was ever really said about who WE were to them, not that they didn't know. Like I said, not to worry.

Rolls are done got to cook the bread now.
It is now 5:30am. I have been up since 2:00am when Connie finally finished her half of the feast cooking. I can now say, the Deviled Eggs are done, celery is stuffed with cream cheese, the rolls are in the oven, and I even made two cinnamon roll loaves because I had so much bloody dough left over. Connie made bread pudding with sauce, boiled eggs for me, finished cutting up veggies for the platter because I was way too tired to keep standing ( I got up at 3:30am yesterday), and made green bean casseroles. We put all this food together for two households. I think the parents got off easy. All they had to cook for was their homes.
Wel got to check on the rolls.

Ok, I made it to Wednesday. I know it's not much but it's something. Connie has had the stomach flu for the past 4 day's. NOT COOL! My parent's are now feeling puky. My sister is puking. My nephew was puking. Do you think people around me are sick of me? Hummmmm, makes you wonder, huh? I have had the ache's but I am not really ill, yet. Maybe those vitimins actually work.
*sigh*
"ok, ok, ok", Connie says with a tired look in her eye's, "ok mom, ok, alright, ok mom. Bye."
Well, we are off. To the mom's home. Not a bad thing, I am just tired. Been running nonstop all week and weekend and I just want a nap. Oh well, guess that will come later.
*sigh*
Have a good day.

Yes once again we are plagued by that most horrible of day's, Monday. I don't know about the rest of you but I am thinking that we should all go out and hunt down who ever it was that came up with Monday and shoot him. I know it was a him that came up with Monday because no woman, sane or not, would ever create a Monday. I am going to spend my Monday with my father, yea. Not that he's a bad man, I just have things I would rather do right now (like study). Well go to run need to go pick up dad.
